About the Role:

To manage the accounts of our new and existing clients, Shipcom Wireless IoT is looking for an Accouns Executive capable of seizing the best opportunities in expanding the IoT space for the company while simultaneously maintaining tight relations with the sales and marketing teams.

As an Accounts Executive for Shipcom Wireless IoT, you will oversee the expansions of our IoT presence in various industries and ensuring all procedures deliver the best experiences to our clients, effectively and at the highest quality.

Shipcom Wireless IoT is looking for an Accounts Executive who has demonstrated a track record of success in sales with a focus around IoT Environmental monitoring solutions. We are looking for an individual with expertise in accounts management while simultaneously possessing a passion for new and emerging technologies in the IoT space.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • New customer acquisition and driving new revenue for a specific territory while being assigned greater than $500,000 quota (deal sizes between $40,000 – $250,000) and maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction
  • Creating pricing proposals, negotiating terms and managing the contract process. Ideally, you will sell IoT solutions (hardware and software licenses) to a technical and business audience, building trust and mutual respect with technical customers and peers
  • Being able to discover and answer RFPs
  • Managing and maintaining a sales pipeline and monthly sales forecast
  • Being passionate about what you do and have world-class interpersonal skills to make complex contractual, technical, and financial details sound simple
  • Being able to balance competing priorities and managing multiple project/deals/customer relationships at the same time
  • Being able to work independently in an environment that changes rapidly
  • Travel will be required (30%-50%) especially for trade shows and conferences to spread brand awareness and win business; *special circumstances due to COVID-19

Expected Skills/Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of mid-large deal sales experience and a track record of personally selling and closing complex technical solutions to enterprises and software companies
  • Driving the sales process from internal leads to qualifying new prospects and managing deals to closure
  • 4-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in related role
  • Experience in the Technology / IoT solutions industry
  • Possess strong business acumen along with written and verbal communication skills
  • Campaigning planning sessions and representing Marketing while partnering with Sales in targeted outbound campaigns initiatives
  • Have led project timelines to ensure outbound assets and enablement tools are complete to meet launch goals; prioritize sales leaders wish list of outbound campaigns
  • Be a team player: have worked cross-functionally with internal partners to keep outbound campaigns on track
  • Possessing high organizational skills and can multitask across teams, projects, and priorities
